According to my iTouch it is 57 degrees in Englewood. I don't believe that! It is so nice out! I have the macro lens with me so I stepped outside for a quick backyard photo shoot. Jed and I are working our way up to owning a dog of our own one day. Right now we are simply trying to keep "Pluto" (our Venus Fly Trap) alive. We feed the dogs next door prosciutto ham and we are now housing a robin named "Bill". I'm highly entertained!

Canyons, Colors, Churches and Children
This morning I picked up a free magazine that came in the mail yesterday and turned to an article on Copper Canyon, Mexico. It inspired me to revisit the road trip that I took 16 months ago. Scott and Brad invited me to join them for a three week trip through the series of canyons in the Sierra Madre Occidental region. The canyons were amazing, but even more incredible were the colors, churches and children.

Turbo Lovin' Lovin'
When I moved to Denver I reconnected with one of my friends from junior high, Melanie Ahlf. She is a hairstylist at the Rita B Salon in the Jet Hotel. We decided to collaborate on a photo project and Melanie knew the perfect person to join in the fun... Kristi Reineke is president of Turbo Lovin'. She is the master mind behind the fabulous clothing in these photos. Our photo shoot started out at Mel's apartment and moved to City Park. The models were all friends of Mel and Kristi and I absolutely adored all of them. A big thanks to Alex, Randy, Evan, Zack, and Kim!!!!
Oh, yeah and a shout out to our sponsor, Pabst Blue Ribbon!
